Hey, you people are good with the brain waves! We have positive news on the vehicle situation. Financial outlay will be minimal and DH gets what he's always wanted, an old pick up with an extended cab so we can all ride together. It even has AC, which is more than his Blazer currently has. He's delighted and I'm just happy that he's happy.
I thought I should buy some yarn to celebrate. Of course. I surfed right into a Loopy Ewe update last night and couldn't believe my luck. I didn't go too crazy, only 4 yarns. Well, at one point I had about 9 in my cart, so you can see that I was quite restrained.
First day of school was a success. They've pretty much forgotten all their math in 5 weeks, but that was no surprise. Science was a big hit. I went looking for Grace's Abeka language book and couldn't find it anywhere. I had so much curriculum that I didn't even notice that it never arrived with the other things I ordered. I called Abeka and they discovered that I'd ordered it, but it had not been entered into the system. I had to reorder it, but I can't believe I didn't notice it sooner. The rearranged study areas had mixed results. Alex's new worktable is great, but having Grace's desk in her room is going to take some adjustment. Like, get the Polly Pockets off of your workbook and your American Girl cannot hold your flashcards.

Congratulations on a successful first day! I know what a reward that can be... blessings on your new year!

Great to hear the good news on the vehicle front! Especially since it worked out that you had funds for fiber! Can't wait to see what you bought!
